A Brief History of Hilltop Place

Hilltop Place is a community of 147 units spread over 55 acres in New London, New Hampshire, built on land long used as a dairy farm and later as site of the Brocklebank Hotel.  At just over 1300 feet, it occupies one of the highest elevations in New London with views of Croydon Mountain to the northwest, Mount Sunapee to the southwest, and Mount Kearsarge to the southeast.
the residential buildings and Hilltop House were re-sided with vinyl clapboards.  In addition all these buildings were reroofed and all roads repaved.
